The alignment of US 99 follows current I-5. Most of the bridges on I-5 beyond here to Ft. Tejon are from the original three-lane alignment of 1936 and the four lane expressway of 1951. Nothing of the old highway can be seen here other than what is on Peace Valley Road. Some of the concrete from the Ridge route can be seen here. To follow the Ridge Route, take Lebec Road. To follow US 99, take I-5 north.
