1950's asphalt curbing is visible on the right shoulder. This was installed to prevent water from washing over the road and causing erosion problems. White striping is also visible here.

This segment of US 6/395 was bypassed in the mid 1960's. The new road runs to the east of this alignment. Not much exists on this road but old striping and pavement. The small resort of Aberdeen can be seen just north of here.
