Freeman Junction. SR-178 heads west at this point.


Old alignment of US 6 south of Freeman Junction and west of the current alignment. Bypassed in 1947.

The road through Walker Pass, SR-178, joins SR-14, old US 6, for a few miles here. The bridge to the south over Freeman Gulch was built in 1947. The railing was modified in the mid 1990's. A small segment of old US 6 can also be seen here as shown in the photos.
