Concrete leading into the Route 14 freeway south of Mojave. These lanes were to be a part of the Route 14 Mojave Bypass leading to the west of town. Looking south.

This is the northern end of the Antelope Valley Freeway and the last freeway old US 6 will see until I-70 in Utah. The freeway was extended here from Rosamond in 1972.
