Here, US 6 crosses the San Andreas Fault. Una Lake, to the east of the highway, is a sag pond along the fault. Many springs exist here thanks to the San Andreas. An old alignment, before the passing lanes were added here in the early 1950's, exists just to the west of the roadway.
From here, you can get a nice view of US 6 and the Southern
Pacific Railroad entering the main part of the Antelope Valley.
Go East on US 6 to Mojave
Go West on US 6 to Los Angeles
