- Canyon Country (Solemint / Honby)

Approaches to the original Santa Clara River Bridge. It was built at a cost of $20,000 in 1921. In 1971, it was washed out.

Canyon Country was founded in 1963. However, settlements in the area date back to as far as 1876. Other than the realignment at the river and widening to four lanes, Soledad Canyon Road remains much the same alignment as it did when US 6 ran this way.
