Bouquet Canyon Road

This road runs north-south from Saugus in Santa Clarita to Leona Valley. In Saugus, the road is a four to six lane thoroughfare with a bike lane along part of its journey. About one mile after leaving the Santa Clarita City Limits, the tract homes are replaced by REAL ranches and open space. Most of the road that is driven today was built in the 1930's, although there has been a road in this canyon since the late 1800's.

One of the many sharp curves in the middle section of Bouquet Canyon. Curves range from 35mph down to 20mph.

Typical tree lined stretch. Many trees, especially native Oak trees, curve over the roadway giving some parts a nearly tunnel-like effect.

Upper section of Bouquet Canyon. This is a fairly straight stretch with a gentle grade above Spunky Canyon Road and Bouquet Reservoir.

Signage at the end of the road in Leona Valley. This is 13 miles east of Lake Hughes Road.
