Ridge Route - Castaic

Castaic marks the beginning (or ending) of the trip over the mountains. This begins the "Ridge Route" section. Sadly, a major portion of the climb has been wiped out for development. Curbing, concrete, and the alignment itself were still relatively intact until it was bulldozed for houses. As a greater insult, the new roadway will be named the Ridge Route.
